PPFN Announces Job Vacancies for Project Officer and Youth & Inclusion Officers
Abuja, Nigeria – The Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) has announced fresh job vacancies for qualified and passionate professionals interested in advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) across Nigeria.
The organisation is seeking experienced candidates to fill the positions of Project Officer (SHIFT Project) at its National Headquarters in Abuja and Youth and Inclusion Officers in Edo State and Oyo State.
PPFN is a leading non-governmental organisation dedicated to expanding access to life-saving reproductive health services through advocacy, partnerships, service delivery, and capacity strengthening. These new openings provide an opportunity for professionals to contribute meaningfully to community health and youth development programmes.
Available Positions
1. Project Officer – SHIFT Project
- Location: National Headquarters, Abuja
- Contract Type: Three-year fixed-term contract (renewable based on performance and organisational needs)
The Project Officer will coordinate and implement SHIFT Project activities in line with approved work plans and donor requirements. The role involves supporting youth-friendly and rights-based sexual and reproductive health programmes, conducting field visits, collecting and analysing data, preparing reports, and engaging key stakeholders including government agencies and health institutions.
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Nursing, Midwifery, Health Sciences, or related fields, with at least five years of relevant programme implementation experience.
2. Youth and Inclusion Officer
- Locations: Edo State and Oyo State (One position per state)
- Contract Type: Three-year fixed-term contract (renewable)
The Youth and Inclusion Officer will oversee youth-focused and gender-responsive adolescent SRHR interventions at the state level. Responsibilities include delivering Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), coordinating peer education programmes, promoting youth engagement, ensuring safeguarding standards, and supporting advocacy for youth-friendly services.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or related disciplines, along with three to five years of experience in youth or adolescent health programmes.
